This past June, Dr. Ron Kovach, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Klara Bilgin, Dean of the School of Public & International Affairs, visited several European embassies as part of a University-wide embassy outreach effort aimed to create new academic partnerships with overseas universities. FXUA currently has over 100 international Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with overseas institutions and offers a variety of academic collaboration opportunities including scholarship programs, 1+1 and 2+2 agreements and joint degree programs. The goal of these academic collaborations is to attract additional international students to FXUA and create a broad network of international academic guest speakers.

Dr. Kovach and Dr. Bilgin’s recent summer embassy visits included the Embassies of Georgia, Estonia and Armenia located in Washington, DC. FXUA also welcomed the embassy of Czech Republic to its campus in June to discuss possible areas collaboration.
