FXUA’s Writing, Research, & Media Center (WRMC) is pleased to announce a new series of hands-on sessions aimed at helping students to improve their writing. Students will have an opportunity to interact with WRMC staff and invited guests to explore topics related to improving student writing for work, school, and beyond. There will be two kinds of events: brown bag lunches and workshops.
What is a brown bag lunch?
- A brown bag lunch is an event in a casual setting held during lunch time. Participants are invited to bring their lunches and learn about specific topics that will enrich their experiences in school, work, or life. While there is a short lecture, participants can expect more conversations and hands-on activities.
What is a workshop?
- A workshop is an event that seeks to inform a broader audience about a general topic. This event is more presentation-based and may have an activity component to help participants gauge their own understanding of the content.
Events are free of charge and open to FXUA students, staff, and faculty!
